Petrol Price in Pakistan Today

 The new price of petrol will be Rs. 118.30 per liter beginning of today (Wednesday), as the government has announced a decrease of Rs. 1.50 per liter in the price.

Diesel (HSD) and kerosene oil have also had their costs lowered by Rs. 1.50 per liter, while light diesel will be decreased by Rs. 1.00 per liter commencing September 1, 2021.

New petroleum product pricing will take effect on Wednesday, and they are as follows:

As reported earlier today, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has suggested that the pricing of ex-depot gasoline be lowered by Rs. 3.50 per litre, the price of HSD ex-depot by Rs. 5 per litre, as well as Light Diesel and Kerosene oil ex-depot by Rs. 2 and 3 per litre, respectively.

In an interview with the media, an OGRA spokesman explained that the proposal was made in light of the existing petroleum levy, current GST rates, and import parity pricing.
